“Let’s go dancing…oh la la la..”.
I was listening to baden.fm radio station. It’s one of those stations that plays a lot of 80’s music here in Switzerland. And it’s a great thing, if you’re into 80’s music, of course. If not, then, what’s the matter with you? Anyways, I love all kinds of music, pretty much everything, but the 80’s, you got to give it to the era…come on…MTV!!!! Hello! Videos started coming in from every artist to express their music and taking music to a whole new level never thought of before.
Nowadays, MTV (in my opinion) has lost that “physical touch” that reached our souls when watching our favorite music videos. Oh well, I guess in this case, not everything stays the same…forever. So I really do appreciate listening from time to time to radio stations that dedicate time to hearing the classics from the 80’s such as: Men at Work, Boston, Mathew Wilder, Genesis, Starship, Bruce Springsteen, Foreigner, Cyndi Lauper, etc., just to name a few. And, as I was listening to their music last night one song that I thought I would never hear, (don’t ask me why), started playing. That was Kool and the Gang…”let’s go dancing…oh la la la…”
I haven’t heard this song for the longest time ever! It used to be one of my favorite songs from them! Now that I heard it again? I can’t stop playing it on my iPhone (yep, had to get it!)! It definitely made my night! I couldn’t stop shaking my bootie in my car seat!
